About Us

Hello! I’m Lizelle, a passionate animal lover with a particular soft spot for dogs. My love for dogs started in my early years with a pet dog always present in our home and a pink electronic dog toy that could play bow with a cute bark when I was a toddler. It captivated me!

Since then, my home has always been filled with four-legged friends. I believe that dogs are not just pets. They are family members with unique personalities, who enrich our lives, provide unconditional love, support and companionship, and make us laugh brightening our days. They deserve all the love and the best care!

As an individually, female-owned pet services provider, your dog will receive personal love, attention and care from a professional pet carer qualified in First Aid and who has done various essential dog behaviour, welfare and training courses through Hill’s Pawpedia Academy and Victoria Stilwell’s Positively Academy.

Kea is a friendly, female Jack Russell who loves to make new doggy friends. Her mom started a home-based doggy daycare business in Weltevreden Park, Roodepoort, called Wiggle Waggle, which Kea thinks is the best idea ever!

Since her older sister, Lilo, passed over the rainbow bridge in 2020 Kea has been lonely. Kea is looking to find small-sized, sterilised, socialised four-legged, tail-wagging friends to join her at daycare so they can hang out or have a blast playing.

Doggy Daycare

Limiting the number of dogs in my care to 4 dogs provides a safe and personalised doggy daycare experience for each dog, ensuring they receive the individual attention and love they deserve.

With less chaos and noise, your dog can enjoy a calm and stress-free environment, perfect for socialising, chilling out and having fun with other furry, tiny friends.

For all dogs to be comfortable, only extra small and small-sized breeds, up to 10kg, that are socialised, sterilised (except puppies), house trained, manners trained and understand basic commands are welcome to apply.

Enrolment Procedure

Our enrolment form will be provided to determine your dog’s suitability. Please return the completed form to me by email.

Once I have the completed enrolment form, I have assessed it and, from your answers, your furry friend shows no signs of aggression or arousal, you will be contacted to set up a free meet and greet date to meet me, Kea, and other furry friends, to observe your dog/s sociability, and to look at the premises. We can talk about a suitable trial day if you are happy with what you see.

The trial day is R250.00 p/dog, due on receipt of an invoice. Unfortunately, I won't be able to confirm a booking until payment is reflected in our bank account.

Adult dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and be sterilised before attending the trial day or daycare. Puppies may attend daycare but must be fully vaccinated, and have had a dose of worm treatment. At 6 months, puppies must be sterilised. Proof of vaccination and sterilisation must be sent to us before the agreed trial date.

For their safety, pooches must always be on their lead or harnesses upon arrival and departure. All dogs must wear a collar with a nametag.

The drop-off procedure in the morning is to drop your furry friend off and leave immediately to reduce the stress.

Food and treats are to be provided by the pet parent. Use an easy-to-transport container or Ziplock bag with pre-measured meals labelled “breakfast,” ‘lunch,” and “dinner” with your dog’s name on it in a lunch bag.

Upon the trial day, I will supervise your furry companion closely, assessing its body language, and interaction with other dogs and provide you with formal feedback at the end of the day. Should your furry companion respond well on the trial day, and as the pet parent you are happy with what you see, enjoy what I have to offer and want to make Wiggle Waggle your daycare of choice, I’ll forward you our monthly Service Agreement.
